Reflection
Supporting 'the best interests of the child' after separation and divorce is always difficult, not least for the parents involved (who are often too traumatised to parent effectively for a while). If we are to have a culture which allows adults to move from one relationship to another, we need to set in place proper support-mechanisms for children and their parents, at these times of change.
